Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award

1. Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award Overview

Fulrath Okazaki Memorial Society established and started awarding the Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award in 2006. The Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award is presented to individuals or groups who have made contributions to the advancement of electronic ceramics in Japan with significant achievements in the research, development, and production of electronic ceramics. The award aims to follow the esteemed legacy of the late Professor Kiyoshi Okazaki (former Professor at the National Defense Academy of Japan and Shonan Institute of Technology) who made significant contributions to the advancement of electronic ceramics in Japan and support the continuous advancement in this field.

The selection for the Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award is conducted by the Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award Selection Committee, comprising academic and successful industrial experts. Each year, the committee nominates up to three candidates. The recipients are formally decided at the annual Memorial Association Committee meeting, and the commendation takes place at the award ceremony held during the annual Memorial Association General Meeting in June.

2. Applying for the Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award

No general application is accepted for the Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award. Recipients are selected from the candidates nominated by Kiyoshi Okazaki Achievement Award Selection Committee members.
